THE HIRING PROCESS

Here’s how our recruitment process works:

  1. Upon receiving your online application, we will evaluate your credentials as they relate to the position you are applying for. If your qualifications are a match (yay!), we will contact you to schedule an interview.
  2. If you are selected for an interview, we will contact you to schedule an initial meeting with a member of our Human Resources team and the hiring manager.
  3. If successful in that initial interview, a second and final interview would be conducted with the head of the department. Please note there may also be a skills evaluation test (if applicable) included in the second interview.
  4. Next, reference checks are conducted and finally an offer is made.

The length of our recruitment process varies due to a number of factors, including the number of applications and the candidate’s availability for interviews. We aim to have positions filled within about a month. All applicants will be notified once a position has been filled.

We are pleased you have chosen to explore the exciting career opportunities at Tourism Whistler and we thank you for taking the time to contact us.

Will I have to travel to Whistler for an in-person interview?
